Plasma Pen treatment reduces wrinkles, stretch marks, skin sagging, scarring + more... During fibroblast treatment, needles do not pierce skin, instead a Plasma Pen device creates tiny plasma arcs when it is applied near to skin, causing micro-injuries which look like tiny 'dots' on the skin. The surrounding skin contracts, which immediately tightens skin and the ensuing wound healing cascade produces new surface skin cells in around 5 to 10 days, as the dots crust and gradually fall away to reveal fresh skin. In the deeper layers of skin, collagen production is also induced, and it forms over the next few weeks, which very nicely plumps, smooths, tightens and lifts the skin, vastly improving its overall texture and markedly reducing wrinkles, stretch marks, scarring, sagging + more. Whether you opt for a simple 'lip flip' or eye rejuvenation treatment to a full non-surgical face and neck lift, the desired effects last for several years. Once you have booked, we will carry out a free consultation in person, via phone or email, as we require some info about your health prior to treatment. Prior to treatment, we'll prep and cleanse your skin and numbing cream may also be applied and left to work over the course of an hour. Depending on the area of skin being treated, it then takes from 30 mins to 8 hours to carry out the procedure. Expect treated areas to be covered in 'dots', and these will turn from red to brown as the skin crusts and they fall away over the next few days. The process may sound painful, but it isn’t. You may feel some minimal pain during treatment when we ‘close in’ on areas that have already been treated and thereafter, expect localised swelling which can feel tight and hot for a few days, but not painful as such. You are unlikely to reach for painkillers, and you'll soon forget that the dots are even there! Post-treatment, soothing products will be expertly applied, and we'll recommend a bespoke post-treatment skin routine for you to follow, priced in accordance with your budget. We'll jot it down and email it to you, as proper aftercare forms an important part of our treatment. Please note that as new skin will be generated, you will need to take great care of it, which includes wearing sunblock when outside, whichever your skin colour.
