Service Description

Massage therapy involves manipulating the soft tissues of the body and it is used to enhance wellness and to help manage many health conditions. Massage has been practiced in most cultures, both Eastern and Western, throughout human history, and it was one of the earliest tools that people used to relieve pain. We offer a full body massage service using the finest essential oils and expert techniques which we have learnt over the course of many years working at prestigious events and aboard luxurious yacht spas. In addition to the five basic massage movements of effleurage, petrissage, tapotement, friction, and vibration, we also gently pull and stretch your limbs to help to release tension, and sometimes, trapped nerves too. For clients who require a firmer massage, we also use our arms, elbows, and sometimes even our knees to reach deeper tissue, plus, we can incorporate pressotherapy, and/or use aids such as powerful massage guns during your appointment. Half and hour costs £35, 1 hour costs £60, and you may add 15 minutes of pressotherapy or massage gun treatment for £20 each. Pressotherapy promotes lymphatic drainage by using air pressure on different parts of the body. By alternating between compression and decompression, it effectively stimulates the lymphatic system. You will see improvements to circulatory system disorders and venous issues like varicose veins, tired legs and heavy limbs and you can also treat swelling and drain toxins, fats and liquids that cause cellulite. You will recover skin elasticity, increasing oxygen flow to the body’s tissues and helping them regenerate. The treatment also stimulates the immune system, building up your defences against pathogens, and can even help you lower your blood pressure if you have hypertension. Elite athletes use pressotherapy to improve their physical fitness as it tones muscles and joints. It also relaxes the muscles, reducing muscle fatigue and it helps to prevent pain and cramping. Moreover, it strengthens connective tissues, alleviates stress and tension and reduces muscle spasms.
